Working within the Academic Division, I manage the day to day activities on the core Academic social media channels. Working with the senior marketing manager to develop and implement strategies for content and social media, running A/B case studies, setting up analytic reporting and managing campaigns from end to end. In my time at OUP I also sat on the group social media board helping make social media decisions at a global and brand level.
Digital Communications Officer: Thames Valley Police
Managing social media platforms for Thames Valley Police, my role included everything from content planning, creation, scheduling, publishing, and managing campaigns to assist corporate communications. Filming and editing media appeals, police awards, and content for the Rural Crime Campaign I helped document TVP stories through creative video content published on YouTube.
Web & Publishing Manager: Oxford University Press
Working with a small project team, I helped launch a new government department, Competition & Markets Authority. Working to close down the Competitions Commission and the Office of Fair Trading, my role was to dissect existing content for achieving or repurposing for the CMA. This role gained me experience in working with UX, coding, and some technical & on page SEO.
Digital Content & Social Media Manger: ACAS
Managing the day to day social media activity and channel development on Instagram, Vine, and Facebook. Working with external and internal stakeholders to create and manage content for the platforms, in addition to overseeing community management, generating analytical reporting and running end to end social media management campaigns that drove engagement and increased brand awareness of ACAS across multiple platforms.
Brand Design & Social Media Management: Find That App
Working with FindThat App to design and develop an end to end brand design, including logo, fonts, colour palette. I also worked as the social media manager for the brand’s Facebook account, designing, developing and scheduling social media content for the brand.
