The school of love

Sounds cheesy, but this is pretty much where I’ve been for the last month. I can’t begin to tell you my experience, but I am so thankful for having faith in someone greater, bigger and more powerful than all of my experiences put together.   I’m currently busy looking for a new home, and whilst I got easily distracted by the internet I stumbled across the following sentence that just hit the light switch on some misconceptions about love. Here’s just a snippet of the things I’m learning, and that I can be thankful for;

1. True love is not a feeling, it’s what you do.

2. You know you’ve found true love when someone is willing to lose you trying to win you.

3. Effective communication helps a lot

Now please don’t get me twisted; I love a good fairy tale as much as the next girl, but I know that real life isn’t as rosy as they paint in the movies, or any good book. However, I have learnt that although life and relationships are rarely perfect, and require lots of willingness (on both sides) to work, there are a few indicators that tell us whether a particular key will fit the lock of our heart. What do yo think love looks like? What are some of the indicators that you use/have used to determine whether a relationship is right for you, or not?
