Packing adventure

Ok, so I was planning to update you tonight on part 2 of my trip to Paris. However, I have sadly run out of time this evening after three days of packing, sifting, making boxes, and more packing.

Thanks to some trusted friends who helped make a day of it on Saturday, I can honestly say packing a years worth of property was rather fun (and organised). Despite lots of uncertainty in this last season, I am learning to embrace the peaks and troughs of life and packing on a new level. 🙂

Oh how this room has changed from the bare photo (top left).

My three top tips for packing.

1. Purcahase StorePak Multi-use archive storage boxes from Argos. £11.49 and you get 10 in a pack. They are a bargin! I had left it too late to order the ones I had planned to on Amazon, and popped to the local Argos instead. I could not believe the inflation cost of cardboard boxes, which were free from supermarkets and similar shops when I last checked? I wasn’t sure if these would be enough, because they looked rather small from the catalog. They were perfect, and they have handles, which make them easier to move.

2. Enlist your friends! I was lucky enough to have my friends enlist themselves. I was quite happy to go ahead and do it on my own, but as the saying goes ‘life (really) is better lived together.’

3. Snacks, drinks, and good music! One of my personal favourites (at the moment) has to be ‘Come over’ by Clean Bandit feat. Stylo G (see below). I just can’t help but love the reggae beat! 😉
